Anuradhapura - Ancient City

Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, with a history that spans over 2,000 years. The city is home to some of the oldest and most revered Buddhist monuments, including stupas, monasteries, and sacred trees.

The Sri Maha Bodhi tree, believed to be a sapling of the original tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment, is one of the most significant attractions in Anuradhapura.
